The diffention of a dating relationship
[Read: The 10 relationship stages every couple has to go through] Open and closed stages of dating Someone should invent a detailed diagram for the different stages of dating, showing those that take you one at a time towards the desired destination and those that will lead to an exit from the field of play.
The former of these are the open stages of dating, stages which follow a sequential and chronological order, which really is the name of the game with dating, and culminates with a productive outcome.
In Genesis chapter 2, God declares it is not good for Adam (the first man) to live alone.
All the animals are there, but none of them are a suitable partner for Adam.
Obviously, the societal definition of marriage is changing.
But is it the right of a government to redefine marriage, or has the definition of marriage already been set by a higher authority?
Every marriage thereafter is intended to reflect the unity shared by Adam and Eve.
Because their bond was “in the flesh,” they were together forever.
Just a few verses later, the woman is called “his wife” (Genesis ).
Even though some people in Scripture did have multiple wives, it is clear from the creation account that God’s design for marriage was one man and one woman.
Jesus emphasized this principle when He appealed to the Genesis account to counter the idea of easy divorce (Matthew 19:4—6).
When you’ve met that special someone that you know you want to spend the rest of your life with, even if you’re only at that staring-starry-eyed-at-each-other-across-a-crowded-room stage, then you’d better prepare yourself for the exciting, but exacerbating, minefield that is the dating game.
Of course, that’s easier said than done, and with the rules of dating changing all the time, nobody can claim they are fully prepared for what comes next.
